I've been a huge Abby Jimenez fan since I read her debut novel, The Friend Zone. I was instantly hooked on her relatable characters, hilarious charm, and swoon-worthy romance. Say You'll Remember Me did not disappoint!
Xavier is a grumpy, workaholic veterinarian, and Samantha is a vivacious social media marketing manager. When she brings a kitten she found to Xavier, their first meeting goes anything but smoothly. They reconnect weeks later, and he asks her on what turns out to be an amazing, never-ending date. Until it does end and Samantha tells Xavier she has to move the next morning to California to help care for her ailing mother. Samantha tells Xavier to forget her, something they both have trouble doing. When Xavier flies out to surprise her, they're right back where they left off. Can their love navigate the distance?
Filled with family drama, sensitive subjects, and the hilarity I always know I'll get, I have nothing but happy thoughts about this book. It'll live in my head rent-free, just like all other Abby Jimenez treasures.
